Welcome to Year 1!

Summer Term 

In the Summer Term, our Year 1 classroom will be buzzing with curiosity and creativity! We’ll dive into exciting narratives like Jack and the Beanstalk, imagining giant adventures and writing our own stories, and explore instruction writing by discovering how plants grow step by step.

In geography, we’ll become explorers of our school grounds, using maps and observation skills to spot plants and wildlife. Science lessons will help us understand the seasons and the wonders of summer, while learning practical ways to stay safe in the sun. Every day will be full of fun, hands-on learning and discovery!
