Intent:

At St Breock Primary School, our Computing and ICT curriculum prepares children to be confident, capable and safe users of technology in a digital world. We build on pupils’ everyday experiences to develop secure digital literacy, creativity and independence.

We aim to:

·       Develop confidence and competence in using technology for learning and everyday life

·       Strengthen speaking and listening through researching, presenting and evaluating digital work

·       Enable pupils to design, create and evaluate digital content using subject‑specific vocabulary

·       Embed online safety across all year groups through Computing and PSHE

·       Prepare pupils for future education and careers through responsible and effective use of technology
