Intent:

At St Breock Primary School, Science is a knowledge‑rich and inclusive curriculum that is carefully sequenced to build pupils’ scientific knowledge and enquiry skills, enabling them to question, investigate and understand the world around them through practical and outdoor learning.

 We aim to:

·         • Deliver a coherently sequenced science curriculum that builds knowledge and skills

·         • Develop pupils’ ability to question, observe and investigate using scientific enquiry

·         • Provide regular hands‑on, practical and outdoor learning opportunities

·         • Enable pupils to test ideas, identify patterns and draw conclusions

·         • Ensure all pupils can access, engage with and succeed in science

·         • Foster curiosity and a lifelong interest in science
